No experience in letterpress or design? No problem. Our workshops run you through the entire printing process, from setting type to printing. We also provide all necessary materials. About Striped Light

We are a unique letterpress shop and record label located in Knoxville, TN. Our production includes fine art, recorded material and distinctive printed ephemera. Printing is widely regarded as the most democratic art form. Now more than ever the presence of a community print shop with public access is essential. Striped Light is that print shop, with an educational letterpress and risograph production facility that designs and facilitates a range of classes and workshops. Recently Draft, a local advertising agency came to the shop to rent press time. Here is the result of their project.
