On Location Tintype Portrait Studio by Emily Brewer
FIRST FRIDAY - AUGUST 4th, (5 to 9pm) & SATURDAY - AUGUST 5th, (1 to 5pm) @ Striped Light
For two days our gallery will be converted to a tintype portrait studio operated by local photographer Emily Brewer. What exactly is a tintype you ask? A tintype is a photograph made by creating a direct positive on a thin sheet of metal coated with a dark lacquer or enamel and used as the support for the photographic emulsion. (Thanks Wikipedia!)
